What a great day for a trip to Sarett and then the Dunes! The students explored the wet forest in the morning surrounding the Paw Paw river valley then, following lunch, we explored the dry environment of the dune. (Michigan has the largest collection of freshwater dunes in the world) Our math test has been moved to Friday (no school Thursday), spelling test Friday as well. My favorite part about are field trip was the dunes. I liked running down what they called the “blow out” part, and i also liked the quiz that the whatever person who was showing us around gave to us because she gave a water. Elmo

I really liked the dunes. Going up and down with the sand filling your shoes was fun. When we got to the lake we skipped rocks and picked up three favorites, that was really fun too.

I had a great time! I really liked the dunes, mostly going down. I loved going to the beach and looking for rocks too! MY favorite animal i saw was 3 carp!

I thought the dunes were the best because we have been to Sarett a lot. My favorite part of the dunes was looking for wolf spiders ( we didn’t find any )

My favorite part of the trip was both standing by the pond and seeing the fish and sliding down the dunes. I also liked chucking rocks in the lake.

My favorite part of the trip was going down the dunes! It was
very fun (but a little bit scary). I also liked seeing all of the big fish in the water at Sarett!

The dunes were AWSOME. My favorite part of the trip was at the dunes when we got to run down the “blow out” dune. I also liked playing around down by the lake. -SF

I enjoyed the trip to Sarrett. My favorite part was dicoveying plants animals and bird calls. I learned that all spiders are posonous but some can’t get there mouth open enough to bite. It was fun. Thanks

The dunes were great! I liked the part, when we went down the hill. I got so much sand in my shoes. I hated the wolf spider but the burrow was really cool. I also liked the rocks on the shore and skipping them on the water.-KG

the trip was ok But I didn’t really like climbing the dunes(very tiring) but sarret was better we saw a lot of cool animals it was cool
